I am a wee bit emotional while I am beginning to pen this down. Welllllll tough nuts do soften up on certain happenings (yes "Happenings"). I like that word, because "LIFE" happens๐
It's funny how some people who walk into our lives or are strategically placed in our journey (force of the universe I say!) become such an important part without us even realising it until we see them missing from our ecosystem. In recent times I handled or rather still handling a situation of one such influential entity gone from my life. And hell yes!!! I so fondly and deeply miss this person. It makes me wonder and I truly love the way this universe functions in bringing some of the right souls to us and to make it more magical, so effortlessly ( Like Serendipity). Just stop and stay still for a moment to look around and notice the people in your close proximity, who play a significant role in the way you are able to drive your LIFE (a beautiful word). Quite often we get so involved in chasing our dreams, running errands, sulking over our so called "Problems" that we fail to notice how blessed we are to have the ones that we have. So this person that I am referring to has been my biggest Mentor and I owe my success of last 2 years to her. Irony is, I have never met her in person and have only been talking to her. One of those seldom moments when I am rooting and hooting for technology! Ahhhh....I never realised I loved her so much until she was gone. That's when I told myself and now telling you...Yes You!.. Good Looking ๐ ! Be nice to folks around you , say nice things , smile at each other, be gentle, as you never know it could be the last word, last smile, last giggle or the last Thank you! exchanged. Loosing this person who is neither my family nor a friend has kicked in an innate sense of calmness and value for the remaining time. From my manic sense of working to having started to take notice of every breath I take. Such is the power of some people who have that effect even when they are gone. It takes a lot to shake a Dragon like me! I admired her then , I admire her now and will always do. I am glad our paths crossed and she TOUCHED my life! I believe in giving , and there are few who I count on. She was one of them! My eyes still moisten up!๐
Ok lets turn this a little less intense, there is a saying - "Everyone comes into your life for a reason", I "BEG" (yes capital and bold letters) to differ. There are a few characters who have come into our lives for no good reason and were so UNCALLED for(rolling my eyes) he he....There is nothing to learn from their entry and no good has come out of them hoovering around us. Someday I do want an answer as to why we ended up catering to these uninvited guests of our live's๐ Lol. Such a mystery I tell you. I guess, as they say its all about the balance, some cross you for no good and some leave a beautiful impression that positively impacts your inner being. So SMILE, BREATH AND REPEAT! Cheers to our existence!
