Calling out to the Universe again..wink wink, I over and over again get bowled out on how sometimes we bump into strangers who then go on to becoming our dearest of friends. When it comes to friendship - Age no bar, Race no bar, Gender no bar and so on. Bar is 'THE' word here (pun intended), since we are talking about a journey of one such Bartender😉. So recently on one of my saturday rendezvous (good food, crazy music and fun company) I crossed my paths with this gentleman who is like an ENERGY BALL. A man who has seen the good, better, bad and the worst! Coming from a blended cultural background, having left home at the age of 14 , travelled to work from country to country he surely has come a long way. The man is like a living version of the "Book of 100 Stories". From what started as working at a small joint in mumbai to having then travelled to Oman to then moving to European side of the world to Canada and so on Phew !!! Does this even end 😉 haha. Val(thats what people call him) is now finally very well settled and is based in amchi Mumbai(city of dreams) with a dotting beautiful wife in a home full of greenery and birds chirping away(sounds like a dream house).
Val sets up and designs bars for some of the renowned chains in the country, along with that makes bitters with his own label. He exports the bitters and locally if he likes you upon request these will be delivered to you 😉 His bitters are unique and can liven up the most plain and mundane drinks. With his choice and quality of bitters no drink can go wrong. Apart from bitters he also masters at a wide array of botanicals which are USDA certified, Kosher certified and are magically organic. Everything he makes is made with utmost care , highest of quality and comes with zero adultration. Now thats quite a mix😉. This very humble man is so passionate towards his staff and totally believes in empowering people. Through his work he caters to the rich and empowers the poor. Now thats some classic blend of character(just like his bitters and drinks ) I have witnessed so far 😊.
Val has carved his life so beautifully with his wife being his total support system. Everytime I talk to him, either he is playing snooker, chilling over a drink with his better beautiful half else making slurpilacious food. His belief is "God has given him so much and its time to repay back". 'Valentino Ambrose' is not after money or fame, he is truck loaded with compassion and sheer spirit of giving back. He is actually the king of 3 Big B's - Bartending, Bitters and Botanicals. I am so fortunate to be his friend and that's another feather to my hat. Aint I so blessed with these kind of additions to my book of life 😁
